BTC Helium
BTC Helium waits at Bitcoin's swing levels - the recent highs and lows the market has not broken yet. Every half hour it checks for a fresh level above and below the price and places a buy stop or sell stop there, so it trades when Bitcoin breaks through a level that matters.
Every trade has a small fixed stop loss from the first second, and a tight trailing stop banks the move quickly. One trade at a time, a level that traded is not used again, a cap on trades per day, and it stands aside when the price feed is too thin for clean fills.
It trades Monday to Friday only: at the weekend the Bitcoin market is thin and breakouts mostly fail, so it places no new orders on Saturday and Sunday. Its own-results switch watches its recent trades: when they add up to a loss, it follows its signals on paper only and trades again when they turn positive.
Results

How it trades
Swing levels
Every half hour it looks for the newest swing high above the price and swing low below it that the market has not broken, and waits there with a stop order.
Small fixed stop
Every order carries a small fixed stop loss from the first second.
Tight trailing exit
The trailing stop starts early and follows closely, so a breakout is banked quickly.
One trade at a time
When one side fills the other order goes. A level that traded is not used again, and there is a cap on trades per day.
Liquidity guard
When the price feed gets thin - big jumps between ticks - it places nothing and pulls its resting orders.
Weekdays only
No new trades on Saturday and Sunday: weekend breakouts in thin Bitcoin markets mostly fail. Its resting orders are pulled at the weekend start.
Pauses itself in bad markets
It watches its own recent results. When they add up to a loss it follows the signals on paper only, and trades again when they turn positive.
Signals from our server
The levels come signed from our licence server - the same for every partner, nothing to tune.
What you need
Suggested capital = 3 times the worst drawdown in our backtest, or 33 times its biggest single loss if that is more - so the worst stretch we tested costs at most a third of the account, and one losing trade about 3%.
Lot size by deposit
Our recommendation
Under $150? Open a cent account. With $50 on a cent account, BTC Helium trades up to 0.33 cent lots - the worst drawdown in our test would have cost about $5. That is a safe start, and the lot grows with your balance.
$150 or more? A USD account works too: 0.01 lot needs $150, where the worst test drawdown was about $16 (11% of it). Never more lot than the table below: our server holds every account to it.
Our server sets the most this EA can trade from your balance, so the account is never over-lotted. Bigger balance, bigger lot. Running several EAs on one account? Add up their amounts - the balance is shared.
| Deposit | USD account | Cent account |
|---|---|---|
| $50 | - | 0.33 |
| $100 | - | 0.66 |
| $150 | 0.01 | 1.00 |
| $300 | 0.02 | 2.00 |
| $750 | 0.05 | 5.00 |
| $1,500 | 0.10 | 10.00 |
| $3,000 | 0.20 | 20.00 |
| $7,500 | 0.50 | 50.00 |
| $15,000 | 1.00 | 100.00 |
Max lot per order for this EA alone. Cent lots are 100 times smaller, so a cent account can start from $50. "-" = deposit too small for this EA.
